Eligibility

• A candidate seeking admission for the MS (Packaging Technology) should have passed the full time (not by correspondence or part time)
• Graduate degree examination in Science (12th +3 years degree entire 5 years in science only) with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Microbiology or Biochemistry as the main subject or one of them as second subject in the three year degree or Agriculture/ Food Science/ Polymer Science or Engineering/ Technology degree of a AICTE /recognized University with minimum second class.
• Those with equivalent overseas qualification would also be eligible for admission.
• The candidate needs to have consistently high academic performance and sound general knowledge. Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examinations can also apply; however, they must submit their results/provisional results (as given by University) latest on the selection.
• Admission through different entrance examinations namely, CET/CUET/GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET (For M.S. in Packaging Technology).

Note: The candidates who are GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET qualified,, who wish to seek exemption from CET, may give and application in writing in the office of Dean, University School of Basic & Applied Sciences, before the last date of submission of application form.

Selection Criteria

The admission to this Programme will be done based on the Common Entrance Test (CET) which will be a written examination conducted by the GGSIP University as per its guidelines for CET, updated from time to time. The syllabus for the written test is at the graduate level and the subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Engineering. The merit list of selected candidates will be prepared based on the cut offs decided by the selection/admission committee of the University.
