Admission Procedure for DES PUNE UNIVERSITY
Indian Candidates
1. Notifications & advertisements about the application forms & important dates will be published on the DES PU website.
2. Application forms can be filled online at the DES PU official website by paying the application fee for entrance examination of Rs 1080/- only (nonrefundable) through online mode. (Net Banking/Card/G-Pay etc.)
3. Candidates will be selected either through National Level Entrance Tests / Maharashtra CET/ DES PU UCET/PCET (Entrance Test) conducted online across the Maharashtra Admissions will be purely based on the ranks secured in All National Level Entrance Tests / Maharashtra CET/ DES PU UCET/PCET mentioned in respective eligibility criteria of the programs.
4. Results of DES PU admission process will be published on the individual applicant dashboard.
5. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their score & Personal Interaction (if applicable) as per the Eligibility Criteria.
6. Eligible candidates will be allocated branches based on their scores in the respective examinations.
7. Students pursuing international curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations.
8. Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
9. Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 levels with a grade not less than C.
Note: Admission Eligibility Criteria can be specific to different programs. Kindly review respective programme pages on our website DES PU retains the right to make changes to any published schedule. Any other eligibility and selection criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority, as defined under the Act, may be added during the duration of the Admissions process.
Counselling Procedure
All the selected candidates will have to submit a Seat Acceptance / First Installment Fee for the confirmation of seat & acceptance of the programme allotted by DES PU.
Allocation of seats is based on merit in the National Entrance Examination / Maharashtra CET/ DES PU UCET/PCET (In applicable Programs).
Shortlisted candidates must attend counselling round (if applicable). The dates of the counselling rounds will be published on the website / admission portal.
DES PU will not be responsible if any candidate misses attending the admission round / counselling round on the respective dates allotted.
