» Training and Placement Cell has continuous interaction with industries. The Prominent industries which have regularly visited for campus placement are TCS, Zensar, L&T Infotech, Adani, Hitachi, HCL, JUSPAY, Air Products, IBM, Ashok Letland, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, CEAT, Cummins, GE Digital, Atos, Honda, Lucas-TVS, Parker Hannifin, Schneider, Shapoorji Pallonji, Neil Soft, Sanmar, Varroc, Bridgestone, Trident Group etc.
» To make students more employable, placement department organizes various training programmes, such as Employability Enhancement Programme (EEP) and Company Specific Training Programme (CSTP) to enhance aptitude, technical and communication skills of the students. More than 150 companies visited last year for placement drive. More than 90% students were successfully placed with highest package being Rs. 27 LPA and Average package 6.5 LPA. First Year Admission: B.Tech.
The candidates seeking admission B.Tech Programme should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C.)or the Indian School Certificates Examination(ISCE)or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 or HSC examination of any recognized Board/University from any school/college situated in India.
Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category and Persons with Disability) in the above subjects taken together.
Or
Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from AICTE approved institution and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category and Persons with Disability)
Note:
a) Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C. etc. but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for CET(Engineering)-2025, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said examinations. However, they should produce mark sheet of H.S.C.at time of counseling.
b) After Counseling through BV(DU) CET, if any seats remain vacant, these vacant seats will be made available for eligible candidates, who have qualified the CET conducted by competent authority of any State Government / Central Government like MHT-CET, JEE etc.
A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to B. Tech programme must have appeared for the All India CET(Engineering)-2025 which is a computer-based entrance test (Online) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres. The students will be admitted to the Engineering degree courses of the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Engineering, Pune based on the merit obtained by them in the All India Common Entrance Test CET(ENGINEERING)-2025.
Nature of B. Tech. (First Year) Entrance Test “CET (Engineering)-2025”:
All candidates desirous of taking admission for B.TECH.(Engineering) Programme must appear for CET(Engineering) -2025. The Entrance Test for admission to B.TECH.(Engineering) Programme will be of 200 marks. The examination consists of one question paper set in English medium and will consist of 200 multiple choice questions with four alternatives, with only one correct or most appropriate answer. One Mark will be awarded for each correct answer. It will consist of 80 questions on Mathematics, 60 questions on physics and 60 Questions on Chemistry. The duration of the examination is of 3 hours. These questions will be in general on the detailed syllabus given in Annexure- I. There is no negative marking for the wrong answer chosen or unanswered questions by the candidates. The entrance test will be conducted in online mode at designated centres.

Bharati Vidyapeeth, the parent body of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), was established in 1964 by the eminent educationist and visionary Dr. Patangrao Kadam. Today it has 8 campuses spread over different locations in India.
