Master of Sports Management (MSM) and Master of Sports Science (MSS) are two-year postgraduate degree programmes in Sports Management and Sports Science, providing in-depth and advanced level of knowledge and exposure in the sports industry.
PGP in Sports Management (PGPSM) is a 11-month autonomous programme by IISM to provide a fast-track entry into the fields of Sports Management, particularly for experienced professionals and graduates wanting to take a step up in their career.

Master of Sports Management (MSM): Must have completed graduation in any field from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 40% in all the subjects.
PGP in Sports Management (PGPSM): Must have completed graduation in any field from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 40% in all the subjects.
Master of Sports Science (MSS): Must have completed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 40% in Life Sciences or Biological Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, any allied paramedical fields, BPED and MPED degrees, or a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science.
Master of Sports Management (MSM)
1. Candidates need to clear the internal exam SMAT (Sports Management Admission Test). The entrance exam will be for 80 marks and includes subjects such as Quantitative Analysis, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Sports Awareness
2. Master of Sports Management, PGP in Sports Management aspirants can apply with their MAHCET scores and will be exempted from the appearance for the SMAT.
3. Caselets and overall performance will cover academic scores, sports achievements and extra-curricular activities for 100 marks.
4. The candidate needs to score a minimum of 50% in Stage 1 to qualify for Stage 2 of the SMAT examination which consists of a panel interview that totals to 120 marks.
5. The candidate needs to score a minimum of 60% cumulative of Stages 1 and 2 to secure admission at IISM Mumbai.
6. As per GICED and University of Mumbai guidelines, the complete admission procedure will be confirmed only after the submission of final exam passing documents. Because the students would be getting admissions before their final results for Class 12/Graduation and the admissions are only on a provisional basis until then."

1. Visit the official website to fill out the SMAT/SSAT form.
2. Fill out all your details and pay the application fee of Rs.2149/- to complete and submit your application.
3. Post your SMAT/SSAT registration, you will be given an essay/caselet/SOP topic (depending on your course) for submission before you appear for your SMAT/SSAT online entrance.

4. Post the submissions, you appear for your online SMAT/SSAT entrance on the given exam date from the comfort of your home/place of residence.
5. Once you clear your SMAT/SSAT entrance exam, you complete Stage 1 of IISM's admissions process.
6. Post the Stage 1 result, you will appear for a Personal Interview (PI) round, which is Stage 2.
7. Once you clear the PI round, you will be asked to submit your documents and pay the initial fee amount to secure your seat for the upcoming batch.
