BSM and BSS are three-year undergraduate degree programmes in Sports Management and Sports Science respectively with an option to pursue an Honors in the fourth year, helping youngsters build a foundation in the sports industry.
Bachelor of Sports Science (BSS)
Bachelor of Sports Science (BSS), a comprehensive three-year full-time programme + one-year Honors, is presented in collaboration with the esteemed University of Mumbai and GICED (Garware Institute of Career Education & Development). Curated by the International Institute of Sports & Management (IISM), this programme has an NEP 2020-enabled curriculum, which skillfully combines theoretical classroom learning with practical, hands-on experiences, offering a well-rounded educational journey in the realm of sports science. Delve into the science of physical activity and its impact on the human body.

Bachelor of Sports Management (BSM)
Bachelor of Sports Management at IISM will provide all the verticals and a holistic understanding of the sports business industry. You will learn everything from sports broadcasting in media, sponsorship, journalism, event management, data analytics, and more of the industry.

Financial Accounting, Business Statistics, Product Innovations Management, Introduction to Sport Coaching, Sports Marketing, Sports Broadcasting & Journalism among others.

Bachelor of Sports Management (BSM): Must have completed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 40% in all the subjects.
Bachelor of Sports Science (BSS): Must have scored an aggregate of 40% in 10+2 (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology of any State Board/ CBSE/ ISC, or A-Level, IB, American 12th Grade, or equivalent, or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto.
Bachelor of Sports Management (BSM)
1. Candidates need to clear the internal exam SMAT (Sports Management Admission Test). The entrance exam will be for 80 Marks and includes subjects such as Quantitative Analysis, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Sports Awareness.
2. Essays and overall performance will cover academic scores, sports achievements and extra-curricular activities for 100 marks.
3. Candidate needs to score a minimum of 50% in Stage 1 to qualify for Stage 2 of the SMAT examination which consists of the panel interview that in total is for 120 marks.
4. The candidate needs to score a minimum of 60% cumulative of Stages 1 and 2 to secure admission at IISM Mumbai.
5. As per GICED and University of Mumbai guidelines, the complete IISM Mumbai admission process will be confirmed only after the submission of final exam passing documents. Because the students would be getting admissions before their final results for Class 12/Graduation and the admissions are only on a provisional basis until then.
Bachelor of Sports Science (BSS)
1. Candidates need to clear the internal exam SSAT (Sports Science Admission Test). The entrance exam will be for 80 marks and includes subjects such as Logical Reasoning & Verbal Ability, Sports Intellect, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
2. A Statement of Purpose (SOP) and overall performance will cover academic scores, sports achievements and extra-curricular activities for 100 marks.
3. The candidate needs to score a minimum of 50% in Stage 1 to qualify for Stage 2 of the SSAT examination which consists of a panel interview that totals to 120 marks.
4. The candidate needs to score a minimum of 60% cumulative of Stages 1 and 2 to secure admission at IISM Mumbai.

1. Visit the official website to fill out the SMAT/SSAT form.
2. Fill out all your details and pay the application fee of Rs. 2149/- to complete and submit your application.
3. Post your SMAT/SSAT registration, you will be given an essay/caselet/SOP topic (depending on your course) for submission before you appear for your SMAT/SSAT online entrance.

4. Post the submissions, you appear for your online SMAT/SSAT entrance on the given exam date from the comfort of your home/place of residence.
5. Once you clear your SMAT/SSAT entrance exam, you complete Stage 1 of IISM's admissions process.
6. Post the Stage 1 result, you will appear for a Personal Interview (PI) round, which is Stage 2.
7. Once you clear the PI round, you will be asked to submit your documents and pay the initial fee amount to secure your seat for the upcoming batch.
